The Staying in Place program helps enable older residents of Dongara and surrounding areas to remain living at home and connected to family, friends, and their community for longer.
How Can We Help?
The Dongara CRC can help guide you through the process of arranging the services you need, ensuring your comfort, confidence and peace of mind.
If you are over 65 years old, or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander over 50 years old, you could be eligible for a Home Care Package funded by the Australian Government.
Eligibility for this package is determined through an ACAT Assessment to identify what support might help you return to, or keep, the independence needed to manage your day-to-day tasks.
We can assist you to:
Find out if you are eligible for a home care package funded by the commonwealth designed to help you stay at home.
Request an in-home assessment to ensure you receive the most suitable support package for your unique needs.
Register with an approved aged care provider when funds have been assigned. We help you every step of the way.
Arrange the services you need with quality, reputable providers, ensuring your comfort, confidence and peace of mind.
