  • An elderly man with white hair and a colorful patterned shirt is sitting at a table, signing a piece of paper or artwork. A young girl with curly red hair and a nautical-themed shirt is standing next to him, holding a piece of bread or cake. Two women, one with glasses and blue and white hair and the other with darker hair, are leaning over to look at the paper. In the background, several people are seated at tables in a busy indoor setting, possibly a community center or classroom, with shelves, notices, and a blackboard visible.

Staying in Place

The Staying in Place program is an innovative model of home aged care services.

Dongara CRC coordinates the Staying in Place program locally. This program aims to enable older residents of the Shire of Irwin and surrounding areas to remain living at home and connected to family, friends, and their community for longer.

We partner with approved aged care providers and an employment platform called Mable.
